What redraft usually means, and what weekly redraft means
Redraft on its own almost always means a season-long league that starts over each year: at the end of the season every player becomes a free agent again, and next August you draft from scratch. What a weekly redraft actually looks like
You open packs of six players and pick in turns until the roster is full: quarterback, running backs, receivers, tight end and bench. Around fifteen minutes. On game day those starters score real NFL points, live, and your total is ranked against everyone else who drafted that week, worldwide and separately inside your own country.
Then it is over. The roster expires, every player goes back into the pool, and the next week opens with the same blank slate for everyone. Nobody carries an advantage forward from a good draft, and nobody carries a bad one either.
