How much does DraftIcon cost?
Nothing. DraftIcon is free to play: in your browser or installed as an app on your home screen.
Can I start in the middle of the season?
Yes. Every NFL week starts from zero: the packs drop the day after the last game, and your first draft counts right away. Your season table rates you from your third week on. More on joining fantasy football late.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. Solo you draft your team every NFL week, climb the global and country rankings and play the season in a division of eight, drawn by country. Friends are optional. More on playing solo fantasy football without a league.
What is the Practice Squad?
An extra slot next to your bench. From Wednesday you open one Bronze Pack a day and may put one card into the slot. It scores no points until you swap it into your lineup; that promotion ends the packs for the week.
How much time does a week take?
The draft is 11 picks with 60 seconds each, so about ten minutes. After that your team runs on its own; the daily pack and the question of the day take a minute if you want them.
Do I need an account?
Not for a game on one device or a mock draft against the coach. To play online you sign in with an e-mail link, a six-digit code or Google, no password needed.
What is a Draft Icon?
Icons are the rarest cards in DraftIcon: the superstars of the NFL, shining gold in your packs. And a Draft Icon is also what you become: win enough duels against your rivals and your name gets the golden frame for the season. More on what a Draft Icon is.
Is DraftIcon an official NFL product?
No, DraftIcon is an independent fan project. Scoring data comes via the Sleeper API.
